Facilities Contracting, Inc.’s team has successfully completed several ground-up retail buildings and build-outs for companies such as Discount Tire Co., Goodwill Industries International, Inc., Michaels, King Soopers and other retail centers. Our team has the experience needed to customize each individual’s building needs.
Discount Tire Company
For over twenty years, Facilities Contracting, Inc. has been working with Discount Tire Co. expanding their presence throughout Colorado, Arizona, and Wyoming. Our contracts include construction management and general construction of free-standing retail facilities, as well as renovations of existing spaces and building maintenance. All free-standing structures include management offices, a retail show room, warehouse/automotive shop, as well as product storage. The size of each building ranges from 4,000 square feet to 8,500 square feet.
Carlo Car Wash
Carlo Car Wash is a design build effort with a local architectural firm led by Facilities Contracting. The business that is now operational, is a fully automated, belt driven car wash owned by local Colorado Springs residents and features a car wash, administrative office area, and vacuum lot. The design of the building and civil features was challenging due to the confines of the lot, but is one of the only automated washes in the area, so fills a missing service in the local community.
Firestone Complete Auto Care
Facilities Contracting, Inc. constructed several ground up facilities for Firestone Complete Auto Care in Colorado. Construction included services bays, tire storage, offices, and show rooms.
Park 2 Fly
Park 2 Fly, now known as Park 2 Jet, is an over 25 acre property with a combination of thousands of open parking and covered parking spots with car rental offerings as well. The project consisted of notable over lot grading, utility improvements, and storm water quality features. In addition, the project consists of a conventional ground up administration office and hundreds of thousands of square feet of covered parking via pre-engineered metal building on deep bearing foundations.
Scottsdale Promenade
Facilities Contracting, Inc. was contracted to build 3 separate buildings in the Scottsdale Promenade shopping center. The 3 buildings were ground up mix use retail buildings totaling 25,000 square feet. Each building was constructed with careful attention to preserving the natural Sonoran Desert Environment through plant preservations. In addition, to the construction of the ground up buildings, multiple outdoor plazas were constructed around each building.
Towne Center of Brookhill
Facilities Contracting, Inc. demolished and constructed a ground-up retail facility for the Planned Unit Development in the city of Westminster, CO. The facilities were demolished and replaced with a single building having a smaller footprint of approximately 9,734 square feet. The newly reconfigured site provides 26 new parking spaces, including 2 handicap spaces. Sidewalks, drive lanes, crosspans, and a Rain Garden water quality area were constructed within the redevelopment. Construction consisted of erosion control, demolition activity, overlot grading, utility installation, building construction, paving, fine grading and landscaping.
The Shops at Walnut Creek
The Shops at Walnut Creek consisted of a 24,000 square foot retail facility, until Facilities Contracting, Inc. was contracted to construct a 17,000 square feet ground-up retail addition. Included in the contract was the renovation of the original 24,000 square feet retail center and separate buildouts to house a Famous Footwear and Pacific Dental.
